Hi!

Things haven't gotten better so much as they've hit a sort of lull. The surgery isn't until next week, there's some issues getting enough work to, well, work, and my oldest is back into his school routine. I should be seeking out more income, but for the moment I thought I'd check in.

Some background before I get into recent events

Had a great time with the lovely unjapanologist at the Air and Space museum today. Perhaps I could have picked something more fandom relevant but hey, space is cool. I also got to pick her brain a little, ask questions about her studies, when my daughter was not throwing temper tantrums, that is. *sigh*  Humiliating barely describes it.
